  1. Google Play Store Error – Error 505

This error occurs when there are two or more app is installed on your phone with duplicate permissions. Below find out the solution on how to fix error 505.

Solution

In order to fix this problem you have to take help of Lucky Patcher app. This app is a great Android tool that will help you find the duplicate app permission and to modify app permission. Once you find which app is creating such problem using Lucky Patcher, you can then uninstall that specific application from your phone.

  1. Google Play Store Error – Error 504

This error occurs when user tries to install app and it display the error message. App could not be downloaded due to an error (error code -504).

Solutions

In order to fix error 504, you can follow the general solution:

  • Go to Settings> Apps > All > Google Play Store and Clear Cache & Data
  • Follow the same process for Google Services Framework.

If problem still exist, then remove your Gmail account, restart your device and re-add your Gmail account.

  1. Google Play Store Error – Error 501

This error occurs when users are not able to open app Google Play Store app itself and thereby not able to download any app. Then in such cases you get error 501.

Solution

In order to fix error 501 you have to Clear the Cache and Data of these two apps – Google Play Services and Play Store. After this you have to remove Google account, reboot your phone and then re-register your Google account. Leave your phone for at least 10 minutes and then you can access your Play store app without any problem.

  1. Google Play Store Error – Error 498

This error occurs when there is any type of Interruption in downloads from the Google Play Store end.

Solution

The problems occur when your phone cache is full. So, you can delete the unwanted or unused application and files from your device. After this, you should restart your phone in recovery mode. You can enter into recovery mode by holding down power and volume down button. This mode offer few more options. You can navigate to Wipe cache partition by pressing volume down button and confirm the command by pressing power button.

  1. Google Play Store Error – Error 497

This error occurs when users try to update the existing apps installed on their phone.

Solutions

Below find few solutions on how to solve error 497:

  • Go to Settings>Apps>All> Google Play Store
  • No Clear Data, Clear Cache and Uninstall Updates

If problem still exists, then you must remove SD card.

  • Go to Settings>Storage>Unmount SD Card

If you have rooted device then you may delete app’s APK and then again re-install it. In order to do that, with the help of Root explorer, you have go to System / app > Mount R / W > Delete application.

  1. Google Play Store Error – Error 495

This error occurs when users try to update existing apps or when there is problem in downloading the apps.

Solution

To solve error 495 you follow the below steps:

  • Go to Settings>Apps. Go to All sections
  • Now look for Google Play Store App and tap on it
  • Now Clear Data

Follow the same process for Google Services Framework as well.

If problem still exist then, you may delete your Google Account. Restart your phone and re-add it. To add your Google account go to Settings > Accounts > Add Account > Google Account.

  1. Google Play Store Error – Error 492

This error occurs due to Dalvik cache. If there is dalvik cache then it almost becomes impossible to install any apps on Android device.

Solution

In order to solve error 492, you have to clear the cache of dalvik. But before that you can follow the mentioned solution.

  • Go to Settings>Apps. Go to All sections
  • Now look for Google Play Store App and tap on it
  • Now Clear Data and Force Stop

Follow the same process for Google Services.

If your problem still exists, you can then proceed further and clear dalvik cache. You have to enter custom recovery mode. Alternatively, you can perform factory reset, but before performing this process you must take the backup of your data that you want to keep.

  1. Google Play Store Error – Error 491

This error occurs when apps update and download becomes impossible.

Solution

In order to solve error 491, follow the below steps:

  • Go to Settings>Accounts>Google
  • Click on Remove
  • Now, Restart your device and re-add your Google Account

After this Force Stop and Clear Data of Google Service:

  • Go to Settings>Apps. Go to All sections
  • Now look for Google Service and tap on it
  • Now Clear Data and Force Stop
  1. Google Play Store Error – Error 481

This error occurs when there is problem in your Google Play Store account.

Solution

The simple solution to solve error 481 is to delete your Google account and sign-in with another Gmail id.

  1. Google Play Store Error – Error 413

When this error occurs then you will not be able to download apps and update existing apps. If you are using proxy to download apps then it will create problems with Play Store.

Solution

To solve error 413, you must follow the below steps:

  • Go to Settings>Apps. Go to All
  • Now look for Google Service and tap on it
  • Clear Data and then Force Stop

Follow the same process for Google Play Store and also clear the cache from web browser.  

  1. Google Play Store Error – Error 406

This error occurs when you perform reset factory and restored your device or when you have reset your Google account and re-register on your phone or when you registered a new account on your phone.

Solution

The simple solution to solve error 406 is to clear the cache of the Play Store.

  • Go to Settings>Apps. Go to All section
  • Now look for Google Play Store and tap on it
  • Click on Clear Cache
  1. Google Play Store Error – Error 403

This error normally occurs when user uses two Google Account to purchase application from the play store on one device. The download will not take place and the request will forbidden.

Solutions

In order to solve error 403, go to Play Store. Log in with correct mail id and then uninstall the app that is creating problem. Now try to purchase the app from Play Store again and see problem occur or not.

Another solution to fix this error is to delete the search history from Play Store. Go to Play Store>Settings and then click on Clear Search History.

Or you can also create new account. Go to Play Store, click on Menu and then select Accounts>New Gmail Account and then try to reinstall the app.

  1. Google Play Store Error – Error 194

This error generally occurs when there is any problem in downloading apps or games from the Play Store.

Solution

To fix error 194 you can Clear Data and Cache of the Play Store and Google Service.

  • Go to Settings>Apps. Go to All
  • Look for Play Store and tap on it
  • Now Clear Cache and Data

Follow the same process for Google Play Service as well.

If problem still exists, then you don’t have t worry at all because the problem is solved with the update of the newer version of Play Store app. You have to just make sure that you have latest version of Play Store.

  1. Google Play Store Error – Error 110

When this error occurs then you will not be able to install any apps from play store.

Solution

Below find out how to solve error 110:

  • Go to Settings>Apps. Go to All
  • Now look for Google Play Store and tap on it
  • Now finally Clear Data and Cache

If that doesn’t work, then try to download the app from Play Store website.

  1. Google Play Store Error – Error 103

This error is actually very strange. It occurs when you Google thinks that the app is compatible with your device, but actually it is not. The installation process will be performed but finally it will give 103 error and it will re-occur on all your device (if installed with same e-mail id) including on those that are compatible.

Solution

Since, the error is not from your side and it will automatically get solved by itself after few hours. If problem still occur even after 48 hours of waiting, ten you can contacts Google Support.
